Katie and Dan McMurray purchased their first home in 2006 and with the progression of life changes, they moved on to a bigger home but decided to keep this first home as a rental property, for many years, because of the area's popularity. They had checked in over the years to evaluate the current housing market in the assurance that when it was time to sell they could do so during a positive market period.

How Was Jessica Volkman Different?

Jessica was always a part of the decision making process. She started by visiting their home to do an initial walkthrough when Katie and Dan decided to list. During the walkthrough, they explained to Jessica what they had planned to do in preparation on their own. Jessica advised them on what they should and shouldn't spend their time and money on upfront. She also sat down with the couple to do a cost analysis of the market and provided feedback on what she felt was a competitive price for their home and why. Prior to listing Jessica scheduled photos to be taken and frequently offered a helping hand. When contractors needed to be let into the home and the McMurray's weren't able to be there, Jessica would step in.
